“We paid $750 for a one-week rental. Delivery was scheduled for September 17 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. My husband stayed home all day, called twice, and the dumpster finally arrived at 9:15 p.m. When I raised this with the billing manager, his response was that we received it on the scheduled day. Apparently, arriving more than three hours past the delivery window was acceptable to him. Pickup was scheduled for September 24. My husband called to say it was full and ready, and was told they would come that day or the next. The dumpster remained through the September 26–27 nor’easter, which soaked the contents. My husband called again September 28 and 29 asking for removal. They finally collected it October 1 at 7:30 a.m., without a call the night before to say they were coming. Then came an additional $408.85 overweight charge, taken from our account. The billing manager claimed they attempted pickup September 24 but our driveway was blocked. We dispute that: the driveway was blocked (we did check our cameras and the driveway was accessible when they were expected). Nobody called to report an attempted pickup or an access problem. When I explained that the contents had been soaked during the storm, he responded, “Dumpsters drain.” I was talking about soaked household items, cardboard, not standing water. I cannot determine exactly how much weight the rain added, but dismissing that concern after leaving the dumpster through the storm was unacceptable. We knew the agreement included an overweight fee. Our complaint is about the delayed pickup, the rain exposure before weighing, and the way we were treated when we questioned the charge. He offered a $50 credit against the $408.85 surcharge. Throughout the conversation, I found him downright rude and dismissive. When I said I could review the company, he told me to “state the facts.” Here they are: late delivery, pickup a week after the scheduled date, repeated calls, rain-soaked contents, a $408.85 surcharge, and appalling complaint handling. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company. You have choices...choose another company.”

“I honestly don't have strong enough words to describe how terrible this experience was. I was completely fooled by the good Google reviews and expected a straightforward, stress-free experience. If I could give zero stars, I would. The experience was frustrating from the start. I specifically called the day before the delivery to make sure the dumpster would be placed in my driveway rather than on the street because I did not have a permit. I was assured that I would receive a call when the driver was on the way the next day. The driver called me when he was already driving away after dropping it off. At the time, I didn't think much of it because the dumpster was ultimately placed where I had requested, but looking back, it was the first sign of the communication issues to come. When it came time to have the dumpster picked up, the communication became a nightmare. You are required to call the company before your rental period is up if you want the dumpster picked up, which I did. I was then contacted about a $1,000 deposit/payment and told that the person who handled it was unavailable and would call me back. My husband called and was hung up on, then called back and sat on hold for 20 minutes before being disconnected. They will not pick up the dumpster until a card is on file. Since I couldn't reach anyone, the dumpster sat for days. We both called again and left messages, but no one returned our calls. After calling again, I was told I was on the schedule for a callback and was specifically told that I would not be charged for the additional days, but they could not pick up the dumpster until my credit card was on file. At this point, I had been trying to get it on file for several days. When someone finally took my card information, I was charged for the additional days anyway to the tune of almost $300. The dumpster was also not picked up when it was supposed to be, despite all of our attempts to get in contact with the company. It then took almost an entire month to get the charge refunded. The lack of communication, repeated callbacks that never happened, getting hung up on, being left on hold for extremely long periods of time, being told one thing and charged another, and then waiting nearly a month for a refund was completely unacceptable. I would absolutely not use this company again. This company seems to rely on customers getting frustrated, giving up, and not continuing to chase them down for money that is rightfully THE CUSTOMERS. Don't let the good reviews fool you. If you are owed a refund, be prepared to keep following up until you get what you are owed.”

They didn’t deliver my porta potty on time. I canceled my order the next day after it was due to arrive because they were giving me the run around and would not let me speak to someone in management. The delivery showed up a day after I cancelled my order. I refused the delivery because I had another company deliver the porta potty. A week later no refund because they said I refused the delivery. “HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE + HORRIBLE UPDATE I originally called/ dealt with Major Dumpsers who were clear and easy to communicate with. They gave me fair and straight pricing. Now I was not ready to commit so I waited a few days until I called back. When I did it was apparently after hours but some woman did pick up and said she would have someone call me back to setup everything. When I got a call back (I didn’t know at the time) apparently she had their sister company call me - Ultimate dumpers. They never indicated who they were. The guy I talked to did not honor the price I was previously quoted. I learned later it’s because their system is separate from Major Dumpster so my quote was not in their system. He came up with every excuse in the book and tried charging me roughly $300 more dollars than originally. After like 30-45 minutes I did get him to finally back off his pricing and honor the original quote. Only he charged me still an extra $29 for CC fee. I just wanted to be done so I let it go. I paid the agreed total fee and things were set. The dumpster delivered. When I was ready I called on Thursday for it to be picked up Friday. The women said that is fine. Some how they messed that up and came Thursday night. Luckily I just finished throwing the last of my garbage when they came except for one heavy item. The driver was nice guy and helped me lift it in so he can complete the pick up. The next day I see my bank account is almost empty because ultimate dumpster charged my card on file $1,000.00!!!!!!!!!!! No warnings. Never was told they would do this. Nothing in the contract noting this. I called and they said its a hold on the account. However for that amount it is unacceptable they put a hold in the amount that is almost double what I paid for the dumpster. They said it would take a week for the hold to be removed!!!!!!!! I asked to speak to a manager now 3 times and they have kept me on hold purposely to get rid of me. Never having a manager call me back. Do not use their services, they obviously lie, hold information, and are not a trust worthy company with any accountability or responsible when as a customer you trust a company to not abuse the credit card you used for purchasing their services. They are truly a Ultimate garbage dumpster company. UPDATE So after a week (!!!) they remove their $1,000.00 hold, and don’t charge anything extra. I thought this nightmare with this company was over. However, the very next day (again without notice or approval) they charged my card again, this time $577!!!! Which is suspicious that it is almost the same amount they charged me the first approved upon fee of $567. They noted in their text receipt to me (again just received this text out of the blue with no warning of new charges) that I went over my tonnage limit. So let’s do some math, I had (1) ton limit (2,000 lbs), I was not allowed to place anything with concrete, The dumpster was filled with about 10 sections of rotten small wood fence, rotted 4x4, and one heavy metal item (which was 200 lbs max of weight). Everything I placed myself. So overall there was no way I passed 2,000 lbs. if I would have to take a guess, I would be hard press to argue I passed 1,000 lbs. Now this dumpster of a company charged this new fee (again $577!!!) for tonnage overage of 3.12!!!! So that means a total of 4.14 tons including my limit. So they are saying I had a total payload of over 8,000 lbs. That is ludicrous thinking they thought they can get away with such outrageous claim. Please do NOT use this company, stay far away as possible. They will rob you of your money. They are a fraudulent company. Take your apology and stick it in YOUR dumpster.”

Called had a dumpster delivered, they told me one size brought me a smaller one- and the charged me $200 over what I paid additional- When I spoke to Karl Parker he said everything was included and there would not be any additional charge. They rush you to sign contract that does not state what you discuss and then charge your card additional money without consent! And then when you call to discuss they say there is no supervisor and that there is nothing they can do and the representatives dont call you back- obviously because they scam to get your business!”

“This company is a scam. Booked two port-o-potty’s over the phone with an agent in April for a late August wedding. Confirmed with an agent and with the delivery driver himself in early August. They never arrived to deliver and there has been absolutely no way to get in touch with anyone. Wedding was potty-less which has ruined the home septic and causing additional expense. We’ve called at least 30 times to no avail. Signed a contract and was charged for the rentals in August. I will be disputing with my credit card since clearly no one actually works there. This company is a scam, save yourself.”

“If I could give 0 🌟 I would. They picked up the dumpster half full on 8/14 when I had paid an additional 5 day permit and asked for a pick up date of 8/17. They refused to give an explanation or to make it right and when pressed for an answer they claimed 'city streets' events (happening blocks away) prohibited them from having a dumpster there. Except, they placed another dumpster for a business nearby in the spot that had been vacated by the dumpster picked up days early. So beware!”

“I ordered a dumpster on a Monday, I was told it would be here on Wednesday. At 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, I made a phone call and asked for the dumpster was. I was told they had been trying to call me all the day before, but I never saw any phone calls from them. They made an excuse that somebody was hurt and unable to work and so the dumpster would be coming on Friday morning. Friday morning came and went and I called and said forget it. They called me back and told me they could not cancel it because he was on his way. I asked them where he was coming out of and they told me Fort Hill, which is 4 miles from my house. When the gentleman came, it was from Connellsville, over an hour away from me. When I told him what I was encountering, he stated they have problems with this company. Also, I do not recommend this company.”

The day they were supposed to pick up the container they never came and two days later we had a snow storm, now they trying to charge an extra $200 for overweight on top of the 800 I paid initially. “Do not waste your time. This company aggressively pushed for a signed contract, then immediately became impossible to reach once the paperwork was completed. I scheduled port-a-potties for four different locations. The first delivery arrived without issue. The second showed up on a Friday instead of the following Monday, when no crew was on-site to receive it. I notified them and was told it would be corrected on Monday—yet Monday came with no delivery and no communication. I called and emailed repeatedly. I was hung up on multiple times, and one representative falsely claimed to be a supervisor. I requested cancellation of the remaining three units (the two untouched locations and the one that never arrived). My emails went unanswered, and the only response I received was an attempt to shift blame rather than resolve the problem. Despite being told two of the units were cancelled, they still attempted delivery. Today alone, I called five times, either being placed on hold and disconnected, or the call was answered with silence. It is very telling that they only reply to 5 star reviews and ignore the low rated ones. At this point, I’ll be disputing the charges with my card issuer. Save yourself the frustration and choose another company.”
