We usually double the weight for roofing jobs: a 20-yard normally includes 2 tons, so roofers prepay for 4 tons on a roofing 20. Same idea on 10s and 30s. Yes. Metal flashing, gutters, drip edge, nails, felt paper, and shingle scraps can all go in the same container. The only items we cannot accept are hazardous materials like asbestos-containing materials. Those require specialized disposal.
