How does the weight math work on a real job?
Worked example: A 2,000 sq ft architectural tear-off
Twenty squares at about 350 lbs is 7,000 lbs, or 3.5 tons, for one layer. A 40 yard (4 tons included) carries it inside the allowance; a 30 yard (3 tons) works with about half a ton billed per ton after pickup. Two layers doubles the weight, so a 40 plus overage or two boxes.

Yes. Metal flashing, gutters, drip edge, nails, felt paper, and shingle scraps can all go in the same container. Asbestos-containing roofing is the exception: it needs a licensed abatement contractor and specialized disposal.

Call or text us and we swap it. A swap-out brings a fresh empty container and starts a new rental period and tonnage allowance, so a two-box job is priced as two clean rentals instead of one overloaded one. On bigger tear-offs the swap can be scheduled ahead.
