Specialized dumpsters with upgraded weight allowances for concrete, asphalt, brick, block, stone, and dirt. Designed for heavy loads that exceed standard container limits.

Smaller containers with higher weight ratings are best for heavy materials.
Heavy-material boxes (dirt, concrete, brick, sand) ride in 10 to 20 yard containers only, on separate heavy-material rates, and never mixed with regular junk: mixed loads bill at the highest per-ton garbage rates. Heavy-material pricing is quoted by phone for your exact ZIP: call (866) 858-3867 and we price the box to the material.

Common questions about renting dumpsters for concrete and heavy debris.
Concrete is extremely heavy, approximately 4,000 lbs per cubic yard. A standard dumpster includes 1 to 4 tons depending on size, and concrete blows past that long before the container looks full. That is why concrete rides in dedicated heavy-material boxes quoted on flat rates instead of by the ton: you know the full number before the box arrives.

Keep them separate. Concrete boxes are dedicated heavy-material dumpsters priced on flat rates, and mixing regular garbage into one carries a mixing fee in some locations. Clean loads of concrete also qualify for recycling, which can reduce disposal costs. Tell us what the project generates and we set up the right combination of boxes.

Yes, but it is significantly higher than standard containers. Our heavy-debris 10-yard dumpsters support up to 10 tons (20,000 lbs), and 20-yard containers can handle similar weight ratings. We will match the weight allowance to your estimated volume.

Yes. Clean concrete and asphalt are commonly recycled into aggregate base material for roads and construction. Recycling reduces your disposal cost and keeps material out of landfills. We route clean loads to recycling facilities whenever possible.

A 10-yard dumpster can physically hold 10 cubic yards of concrete, but at roughly 4,000 lbs per cubic yard, you will hit the weight limit at approximately 2.5-3 cubic yards. We typically recommend loading no more than one-third full for pure concrete.
