Skimming pulls the floating layer and some liquid off the top and leaves the sludge blanket on the bottom, which is the layer that actually causes problems. A full pump-out empties every compartment down to the floor. That is the only version of this service we sell, because a skimmed tank fills back to trouble much faster.
