Divide your total line length by the section length, 6 or 8 feet, and that is your rough count. But the real number comes from the layout: entry funnels, emergency access gaps, and stage or route lines all change it. Yes, used correctly. Our steel barricades are built for crowd-control applications and withstand significant lateral pressure, and the interlocking feet keep individual sections from being pushed out of line. For very large or high-energy crowds we recommend the bridge-footed version, which adds stability. What barricades are not is a security fence: they guide people, they do not stop someone climbing. For overnight site security you want chain-link panels.

Barricade sections are light enough to position by hand and event teams usually want control of the line as crowds move, so the standard model is: we deliver, your team places and repositions, we haul away. We assist with placement on delivery, and for large events we can provide on-site support during the event to reposition as crowd patterns change. If you want us to handle setup entirely, ask when you book and we quote it in.
