What Mesh Fencing Is Actually For
Three variants of the same idea: a light, visible line that goes up fast and moves easily. Pick by what the line has to do.
Orange Safety Mesh
Pedestrian safety zones, hazard marking, open trenches
The high-visibility standard for keeping people out of the wrong place. Anyone can see the line from a distance, day or night reflectivity aside, and it reads unmistakably as a do-not-cross boundary.
Green Mesh Fencing
Erosion control edges, landscaping and tree protection
Same mesh, lower visual volume. Developers use it to protect trees and finished landscaping during construction without turning the property orange.
Silt Fence / Snow Fence
Sediment control, snow drift management
Silt fence with geotextile fabric traps sediment from stormwater runoff and is required by most stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs). Snow fence manages drifting along roads and lots.
How Mesh Installation Works
The fastest install of our three fence types: several hundred linear feet per hour, and often same-day for simple boundary marking.

Crew Installation

As grading finishes or phases shift, one call repositions the line. At the end, the crew pulls the posts and mesh and leaves nothing behind.

4 feet, which is right for pedestrian guidance and boundary marking. I will be straight with you: mesh is not a security product. It will not stop anyone determined to cross it. If you are protecting equipment, materials, or an open site overnight, you want our 6-foot chain-link panels instead, and I would rather tell you that now than after something walks off.

The mesh itself is UV-stabilized and weather-resistant, so sun and rain do not break it down over a long project. Because it is lightweight, it performs best in moderate conditions: with properly driven steel posts it handles normal weather fine, but in genuinely high-wind areas we recommend chain-link panels instead.

Yes. Silt fence, a mesh fence variant with geotextile fabric, is the standard tool for sediment control on construction sites. It traps sediment from stormwater runoff and is required by most stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs). If your permit requires sediment control, tell us the linear footage on the drawings and we will quote it into the same project.

Fast. The crew can complete several hundred linear feet per hour, so simple boundary marking can often be delivered and installed same-day. Large erosion control installations may take a full day. And because the posts drive in and pull out quickly, repositioning the line as site conditions change is a quick visit, not a project.

Ask one question: does this line need to stop anyone, or just be seen? Marking a hazard, routing pedestrians, protecting trees, controlling sediment: mesh, and you save real money on long runs. Securing tools, equipment, or an open structure: panels, no debate. Plenty of sites run both, panels around the secure yard and mesh along everything else, and we quote that as one project.
