The Two Rates That Exist
Porta potty pricing runs on two clocks. A weekend/event rate covers delivery, pickup, and up to about a week on site. A monthly rate covers a 30-day rental with scheduled service visits included: the unit gets pumped, sanitized, and restocked on a route, usually weekly.
In our New York markets, a standard unit runs a few hundred dollars either way. The exact number depends on your area, and we publish it: every one of our order pages shows the real local rate before you give us a single piece of information.
What Drives the Price
- Unit type. Standard is the baseline. Deluxe flushing units and ADA-accessible units cost more; luxury restroom trailers are their own category entirely.
- Servicing. This is the part that separates quotes. A monthly rate with four service visits included is a different product than a bare unit dropped and forgotten. Ask what's included, or rent from someone who prints it.
- Location. Travel distance to your site moves the number, which is why honest pricing is regional.
The Fees to Watch For
The industry habit is a low teaser rate with fuel surcharges, environmental fees, and processing added at invoice time. Our position: one all-inclusive rate: fuel, environmental, local fees, and processing inside the number, never added on top. Whoever you rent from, get the all-in figure in writing before the truck rolls.
When the Monthly Rate Wins
Past about a week, monthly beats stacking weekend rates, and the included servicing matters more the longer the unit is out. Construction crews keeping units for months should never be paying event pricing.
