Pickup is the mirror of delivery. A roll-off truck arrives at your location, the driver backs up to the dumpster, and uses the truck's hydraulic system to winch the container onto the truck bed. The entire process typically takes 10 to 20 minutes.
After loading the container, the driver transports it to the nearest landfill, transfer station, or recycling facility. There, the loaded container is driven across a certified scale to determine the net debris weight. This weight determines whether you stay within your included allowance or owe any overage fees.
You will receive a final receipt (typically within 1 to 3 business days) confirming the weight of your load, any applicable overage charges, and a summary of your rental. If your load was within the included weight allowance, the quoted flat rate is your final price.
Contact your provider by phone, online, or text at least 24 hours before you need the dumpster picked up. Confirm the date and approximate time window for the truck's arrival.
Make sure all debris is at or below the top edge of the dumpster. If any items extend above the fill line, remove them before the truck arrives to avoid delays or overfill surcharges.
