ALL THE DEBRIS THAT'S FIT TO DUMP
Portable toilets look like a one-size business from the outside. The ledger says otherwise: the plain standard unit carries the vast majority of every job, but the mix around it, flushing, handwash, ADA, is what separates a smooth event from a complaint.

Ask most people to picture a porta potty and they picture exactly one thing, the blue standard unit. Turns out that instinct is right. Across the portable toilet orders on our books, the standard unit accounts for 84 percent of everything that goes out. It is the workhorse of the whole category, the jobsite default and the event baseline.
The other 16 percent is where the judgment lives. Deluxe flushable units, about 3 percent of orders, carry weddings and upscale events where a standard unit will not do. Handwash stations, roughly 5 percent, are the piece people forget until the health inspector or the food vendor asks. And ADA wheelchair-accessible units, under 2 percent, are small in number but non-negotiable, since many event permits legally require at least one.
So the real skill is not the standard unit, it is the mix. Tell us the headcount and whether alcohol or food is served, and the right ratio picks itself: standards for volume, a flusher or two for the guests who matter, a handwash station per cluster, and an ADA unit because the permit says so.
The money is friendlier than most expect. The national median all-in on our porta ledger is $295.50, and just over half of all orders, 51 percent, land between $200 and $300. Only 8 percent run above $400, and those are the big multi-unit event and long-term jobsite setups. Delivery, pickup, and regular servicing are in that number.
One planning note the standard unit hides: a porta is a recurring relationship, not a one-drop. Jobsite units get pumped, cleaned, and restocked on a schedule for the length of the rental. The price you see is the whole service, not just the drop.

“The standard unit is easy. Getting the mix right, that's the job. Tell me the headcount and if there's food or drinks and I'll build it.”

Portable toilets are too cheap not to get them. If you are throwing a big party, for around 350 dollars you can get a handwash station with a portable toilet and never have people going inside your house all night.
There should be a portable toilet on every job site. Where are the workers going to the bathroom? How long are they gone if they have to go off site? Keep your job sites professional. A dumpster, a portable toilet, and a handwash station keep your workers happy and your customer happy.
Four main options: Standard (the jobsite workhorse), Deluxe flushing (an interior sink, great for events), ADA (wheelchair-accessible and code-compliant), and Handwash stations. Mix and match for any site, and tell us the headcount and whether food or alcohol is served so we can build the right ratio.
